Manifiesto y Campaña sobre Militarismo y Clima

Hola alidaxs, cómo estáis? Perdonad el spam, pero os quería pedir apoyo con un manifiesto para el que estamos recogiendo adhesiones de organizaciones. Es parte de una campaña sobre las conexiones entre el militarismo y la crisis climática que estamos impulsando junto con Ecologistas en Acción y Extinction Rebellion, y pide transparencia y limitaciones en las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero del sector militar (que son considerables). Buenos días, Empezamos la semana con varias buenas noticias. BUENA NOTICIA 1 Por un lado, en los últimos días han llegado un par de solicitudes de adhesión a la Alianza de entidades. Desde el grupo de la reunión de los lunes les damos el ok. Os comparto la info y doy un plazo de 48 horas al resto del grupo motor para comunicar, si la hubiera, alguna objeción. Pasado ese plazo me comunicaré formalmente con ellas. 1. NovesSendes <https://novessendes.org/es/> ¿Por qué te unes? Para apoyar la campaña y sumar fuerzas para que el gobierno español se adhiera al TPAN 2. ONGD Kolam <https://www.kolamindia.org/> ¿Por qué te unes? Es una decisión motivada por el deseo de contribuir a la paz y la seguridad global. Las armas nucleares representan una amenaza existencial para la humanidad y su uso accidental o intencionado podría tener consecuencias catastróficas. Promover el desarme nuclear ayuda a reducir este riesgo, protegiendo tanto a las personas como al medio ambiente. Además, el desarme nuclear es una cuestión de derechos humanos, ya que el uso de estas armas causa sufrimiento y muerte indiscriminada. Abogar por su eliminación es apoyar la dignidad humana y un futuro más seguro. También implica una mejor redistribución de los recursos, destinando fondos a necesidades más urgentes como la educación y la salud. India, país en el que nuestra ONGD desarrolla proyectos de cooperación al desarrollo, dispone de armas nucleares. Con la unión de nuestra entidad a la alianza por el desarme nuclear es una manera de alinear acciones con nuestros nuestros valores éticos, promover la paz y la estabilidad internacional, y contribuir a un legado de seguridad para las generaciones futuras. Es un compromiso con el bienestar global y un acto de solidaridad y responsabilidad hacia la humanidad. BUENA NOTICIA 2 La otra buena noticia es que el ayuntamiento de Arenys de Munt, de la comarca del Maresme, donde tenemos a este grupo de activistas Cities Appeal maravilloso, aprobó el pasado jueves moción de apoyo al TPAN por unanimidad. Es la número 98… y estamos muy cerca de que otros dos ayuntamientos de la comarca aprueben moción, así que en breve vamos a llegar a las 100 ciudades! Estamos planeando la comunicación de cara al hito. BUENA NOTICIA 3 And last but not least, mañana lanzamos el Argumentario del TNP-TPAN al público. Buenos días, Os envío el enlace a un documental muy lúcido, culpidor y necesario sobre las comunidades llamadas "downwinders". Muy lejos todavía de conseguir la justicia nuclear restaurativa. Cuando me registré para poder verlo, creo que había una fecha límite y la verdad es que no recuerdo si ya ha pasado, pero en cualquier caso es posible que haya otras maneras de conseguirlo.
